Let's get physical, chase those blues away.

When you are feeling overwhelmed with stress or you have anxiety or depression, physical exercise can benefit you in so many ways. It can make a huge difference.

Medical research has proven that the psychological and physical benefits of exercise can also help improve your bad mood and reduce your stress and anxiety.

Exercise is a powerful tool that we can all use in our daily lives. Choose an exercise that you enjoy doing. It would be futile to choose something you dislike - you would just be setting yourself up for failure.

Have you tried gardening?

In the UK, the NHS strongly suggests gardening as a healing therapy and very beneficial for anxiety and depression. Gardening forces you to focus on the task at hand and that takes your mind off things.

It also has immediate rewards which are a magical mood lifter. Walking, gardening, cycling, whatever it is, have it in place for those moments when life just feels too much. Have it be your go-to place.

Exercise

Exercise is also beneficial for holding off depression- keep your mood elevated. Focus on health. But if you do find things taking you down then have something in place to help you immediately.

Don't suffer. Go for a walk instead.
