Do the thing you think you cannot do.

Life is so many things. Some good, some not so good. But how many times do we stop ourselves from doing something because we have decided we just can’t do it? So we don’t even try because our mind is already made up on that issue.

But that’s very risky because if you don’t at least try it- you will never know if you could have liked it and enjoyed many future moments of doing exactly that thing!

Push that boat out, get on that paddleboard, learn to drive that car, try, try and then try another thing.  Learn something new. Be truly awful at it. Either way- at least you tried it. One of my favourite women in history- Eleanor Roosevelt said: “You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” And that is so we can learn something new about ourselves.

Do the thing you don’t think you can do! Have many adventures. These things give depth to our lives. They challenge us and they change us- and this is a good thing.
