Life Coaching and Cognitive Behavioural Coaching (CBC)
Single Session (60 minutes) £80
I have been a Life Coach for more than 17 years and I began my career by first studying psychology at university and then I continued to take many different coaching courses that taught me how to help others.
I work with all the different types of life coaching. There are many different types of coaching and these can be separated into two categories- being and doing.
“Being” coaching is often described as life coaching and personal development coaching. This relates to working on your “inner” self. I will help you examine your values, self-beliefs, self-confidence, and self-esteem.
“Doing” coaching is described as performance coaching. This relates to helping the client set up clear realistic goals, forming a plan of action and supporting them in reaching these goals.
Both types of coaching are equally important and inter-related. A change in one leads to a change in the other and this is where my expertise comes in.
Rather than dwelling on the past and going over ‘old ground’ of past relationships and familiar patterns of behaviour, I will concentrate on what is happening in your life right now; what thought patterns are holding you back from fulfilling your full potential. How do you feel about yourself? Where is your self-esteem? If your self-confidence increased 10 fold, what is truly possible? I will help you set some SMART goals and show you how to achieve them.
I will mentor, motivate, inspire and empower you to truly create the life you have always wanted and deserve. I will help you to get in touch with your inner power – that strength that lies within, of true self-reliance and of knowing what is possible.
My style of coaching is intuitive and directive, in that I will offer ideas on a course of action, the negative thought patterns holding you back, speech patterns or seemingly insurmountable barriers preventing progress. My style is also positive encouragement, without judgement, to help you reach your full potential.
A typical 60-minute session will involve discussing what you would like to achieve. Once established, goals can be discussed and set, challenges to these goals can be assessed and often new perspectives can be realised, so you come to the understanding that with a willingness to change along with a desire to succeed, everything is possible:
- Learn to like yourself
- Develop your confidence and self-esteem
- Set and obtain goals for your career and your personal life
- Change those limiting beliefs and behavioural patterns
- Get more from your life
- Wake up happy in the morning and feeling motivated to begin your day.
One of my life coaching clients wrote -
"It’s difficult to explain where I was in my life and head when I first met Jodechi, I was recommended to see her by a lady I had a lot of respect for and yet put off calling her because helping myself still felt like the last thing on my list of things to do! Always putting everyone first was one of my most important mistakes back then!
The first few weeks were tough when I delved deeper into some of the things that were making my outwardly looking wonderful life feel so tough. Jodechi is professional, kind, gentle and honest and I always felt completely safe with her. Now I can’t imagine how my life would have been without the guidance and support from having a life coach like Jodechi. We clicked instantly and there is something wonderful and calming about her.
It was the best decision I ever made to invest this time into myself and my future and feel truly lucky to have crossed paths with her.”
