Let’s stop procrastinating and eat that frog!

Stop procrastinating

“Eat that frog” is about getting the least favoured tasks done early in the day so that all that follows will be less painful and more comfortable.

It’s in all of us to put off doing things that we feel are unpleasant – things we REALLY don’t want to do. It’s part of human nature.

However, putting those things off over periods of time can build up quite a lot of stress in us and that can lead to anxiety, stress and even depression.

If it’s your job to eat a frog, its best to do it first thing in the morning. And if it’s your job to eat two frogs, its best to eat the biggest one first.

Each morning, or the night before, write up your to-do list and put your least favourite things first thing to the top. Plan to do them first thing in the morning. Then get them done.

The sense of achievement is wonderful and you will feel such freedom. You’ve done it. You accomplished those things that you have been putting off for ages. And now you can go and find more frogs to eat.
